GREY PULSE · FOUNDING MEMBER PRESALE

Possibles

Four hours. One objective. Something to keep.

Once a month, a letter arrives with an objective. You build a small working instrument at your kitchen table, learn a real skill, then go out and use it, on a forest road, a park field or your own back yard. Then you come home with something to keep.

Issue 1, North Without a Compass, ships November 1, 2026. Limited to 250 founders. Fully refundable until it ships.

What it is

One outing a month. Built to be done, not watched.

Possibles is a premium monthly outing for adults who want a few hours away from screens and back in the real world. It works like a good day at a muzzleloading match: set up, gather your gear, hit the objective, and be home by supper, with your head a little clearer.

Every issue is original, digital and made by people. Each outing is field-tested on real ground, and each craft is built by hand before it ships. A running mystery from the 1791 field books of a surveyor named Ada Quill gives every month's numbers a reason to matter.

A possibles bag held everything a frontiersman might need for whatever the day turned into.

Once a month I'll pack one for you: an objective, the gear list, the skill, the plan, and a keepsake for when you get home. Bring a friend. The ones who've never done this before usually want to go again.

Education and recreation, on your own good judgment.

Possibles teaches outdoor skills for education and recreation. You're responsible for your own safety outdoors. Follow your state's laws and posted area rules, including hours, sign-in requirements, fire restrictions, licenses and seasons. Get permission before entering private land.

No firearm is ever required. Lessons that touch on hunting cover legally taken game only, always come with a camera-only alternative, and point you to your state's hunter-education course. Every outing has a park or back-yard fallback.

Questions

Asked and answered.

Anything else? Write to team@greypulse.io. A person reads every letter.

When does Issue 1 arrive?

November 1, 2026. It comes by email to the address you use at checkout, with a link to the web edition and the print-ready craft PDF. After that, a new issue arrives on the 1st of every month.

How does the Founding Member presale work?

You pay $129 once, today, for the first twelve issues (November 2026 to October 2027). Only 250 founding places are available. Founders keep their rate for life: as long as you stay a member, you can continue at $129 per twelve issues. Founders also get a founder-only rank seal on every Ledger plate and, if they'd like, their name on the Founders' Roll in Plate XII.

Does anything renew automatically?

The founding presale does not. It's a one-time payment, and before Issue 12 we'll invite you to continue at your founding rate. Nothing renews unless you say yes. The monthly ($19) and annual ($179) plans do renew automatically until you cancel, and we email a reminder before every annual renewal.

How do I cancel?

Online, in a couple of clicks, from the manage-subscription link in your Stripe receipt, or by emailing team@greypulse.io. Cancelling stops the next charge, and you keep every issue you've already received.

What's the refund policy?

Every plan is fully refundable, for any reason, until Issue 1 ships on November 1, 2026. Just email us. After that, you can cancel a monthly or annual plan anytime to stop future renewals. Payments for periods that have already started aren't refunded unless the law requires it.

What if the 250 founding places are gone?

The monthly and annual plans stay open. The founding rate, the rank seal and the Founders' Roll are for the first 250 only.

How much time does an issue take?

About four hours over four sittings: two short weeknight sessions at the table (30 and 75 minutes), a two-hour outing on the weekend, and fifteen minutes for the Ledger at the end. Your progress is saved in your browser between sittings.

What do I need?

A printer (cardstock is nice but not required), a few things from the kitchen drawer, and somewhere to go outside. Issue 1 uses a cereal box, a straight straw, thread, a washer, a headlamp with a red mode and a warm layer. Each Muster list tells you exactly what to bring.

Where do the outings happen?

Wherever you live. Ground types are tiered from best to fine: a forest-road pull-off on public land, a park field, a creek bottom, farm edges with permission, and always a back-yard fallback. Every issue also has a foul-weather variant.

Do I need experience?

No. If you can hang a picture straight, you can build the instrument. The puzzles teach the skill before you ever head out, and each outing has a stretch goal for regulars.

Is it physical or digital?

Digital only: a web edition that works on your phone in the field, plus PDFs you print at home. Nothing ships, so there are no shipping fees or delays.

Can I try it first?

Yes. The free preview lets you play through Issue 1 in your browser, no signup needed.
